{"id":296,"date":"2015-06-07T15:44:59","date_gmt":"2015-06-07T15:44:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gladfest.com\/?page_id=296"},"modified":"2025-06-12T22:39:10","modified_gmt":"2025-06-12T22:39:10","slug":"31-day-raffle","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.gladfest.com\/?page_id=296","title":{"rendered":"31 Day Raffle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The first Gladiolus Festival dates back to 1938, and in 1939 an association was formed, which is still in existence today. \u00a0Eighty seven years later, the \u201cGlad Fest\u201d stands strong as an important part of our community.\u00a0 Yes, it is not <em>the same<\/em>, gladioli are not as prevalent in the area as they once were and the big drum corps moved onto D.C.I. Nationals. \u00a0But instead of conceding to those losses, the Festival Association works very hard to sustain and improve the Gladiolus Festival each year.<\/p>\n<p>Fundraising is an important part of keeping the tradition alive and we\u2019ve got a fun way for you to help!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Glad Fest 31 Day Raffle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>$10,000 (plus $1,000 Early Bird*) will be awarded over 31 days during October 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prizes will be paid according to the following schedule:<\/p>\n<p>(1) October 1<sup>st<\/sup> <strong>$1,500<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<p>(4) Sundays <strong>$500<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<p>(26) Saturdays through Fridays <strong>$250<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>$20 per ticket.\u00a0 Only 1000 tickets will be sold.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Drawings will be held during the month of October 2025. Raffle winners will be based on the Illinois Lottery\u2019s midday drawing of the <strong>Pick 3<\/strong> Daily Game.\u00a0 Fireballs will be excluded for the Glad Fest Raffle. Drawing results can be found at www.illinoislottery.com.
